Attraverso la natura e il paesaggio possono essere espresse una moltitudine di emozioni, anche contrastanti tra loro; per renderle nel migliore dei modi cerco di approcciare questo genere fotografico da una prospettiva sempre diversa e modellata sulle esigenze del momento, ma con la stessa visione d’insieme.
Realizzo fotografie paesaggistiche e naturalistiche per varie applicazioni, dalla stampa al digital publishing.

A huge variety of emotions can be expressed through nature and landscape. To catch them in the best way possible I try to always approach this photograph genre with an always different perspective, bent to the needs of that particular situation, but without loosing focus from the bigger picture.

Raccontare una storia attraverso le immagini richiede sensibilità e riflessi pronti, insieme ad una scelta mirata della strumentazione da impiegare e una buona padronanza di essa. Nel mio modo di raccontare c’è una mirata, quasi maniacale attenzione ai particolari, oltre ad una ricerca dei momenti più belli e suggestivi, non a scapito di scene più “ordinarie” e non per questo di secondaria importanza.
Che si tratti di una rievocazione storica o di festival musicale, cerco sempre di entrare nell’atmosfera dell’evento, per questo in tali situazioni non utilizzo flash e sfrutto al meglio la luce naturale, tanta o poca che sia, per restituire il mood presente al momento dello scatto.
Un mio servizio è un ibrido di staticità e movimento, di azioni, persone, particolari e scenari.
La mia priorità, in questo genere di situazioni, è quella di non lasciar fuori nulla, e raccontare la storia con la massima fedeltà, attraverso ciò che vedono i miei occhi.
Prediligo la tridimensionalità data da ottiche fisse ed estremamente luminose (35mm f/1.4 e 85mm f/1.2) alla comodità di un’ottica zoom; preferisco fare un passo in avanti o indietro, alla ricerca dell’inquadratura adatta, per restituire la miglior rappresentazione possibile di ciò che accade intorno a me.
Realizzo “reportage” per eventi culturali, sportivi, folkloristici e di vario genere.

Telling a story through images requires sensitivity and quick reflexes, together with a well aimed choice of the gear to use, and a strong mastery of it. In my way to “tell a story”, there’s a focused, almost obsessive attention to the particulars, other than the search for the most beautiful and significant moment, without overlooking the ordinary ones.
Being it a historical memory or a folk festival, I try to always get in the mood of the event; this is why I never use flash or other external light sources, and I try to make the best of the natural light available, to return to the viewer the sensations and feeling I felt while attending the event.
A shooting of mine is a combination of static and moving, of actions, people, details and seneries.
In this kind of situations my number one priority is not to leave anything undocumented and tell the whole story, with accuracy, through my eyes.
I prefer the three-dimensional effect of fast primes (35mm f/1.4 and 85mm f/1.2) to the convenience of a zoom lens; I’d rather make a step back or forward, to find the right framing for the picture and give the best representation of what happens around me.
I shoot reportages for cultural, sports, folk and miscellaneous events.

Il giorno più bello.
Realizzare un servizio fotografico matrimoniale vuol dire creare uno dei ricordi più belli e intensi che una coppia possa portare con sé nella propria vita.
E’ dunque con estrema cura, sensibilità e discrezione che questi ricordi devono essere acquisiti.
Fotografare un matrimonio, per me, è “raccontare” un matrimonio; raccontare gli avvenimenti della giornata, cercando di cogliere con discrezione tutti i momenti più belli e significativi. Per questo motivo non amo scattare foto costruite, in posa o con luci artificiali. Al di là di un piccolo shooting in una location particolare, durante il quale evito comunque foto “forzate”, tutte le foto da me realizzate durante un matrimonio sono improntate sulla spontaneità, questo senza ovviamente tralasciare il gusto estetico.
Prediligo l’utilizzo di due corpi macchina con ottiche fisse estremamente luminose (35mm e 85mm) ma dispongo di un corredo fotografico adatto a qualsiasi situazione, in modo da poter coprire qualsiasi tipo di scenario possa presentarsi.
Oltre alla realizzazione di servizi fotografici, mi occupo anche di wedding video.

The most beautiful day.
Shooting for a wedding means creating one of the most beautiful memories a couple could carry through its whole life.
Such memories must be acquired with extreme care, sensitivity and tact.
To shoot a wedding is, to me, “to tell” a wedding; telling all the happenings of the day, trying to catch with reserve all the most beautiful and meaningful moments. This is why I don’t like to shoot unnatural and forced pictures, pose dot with artificial lighting. Other than a little shooting, in a particular location, every photo I shot during a wedding is based on spontaneity, without leaving the aesthetic style out.
I prefere to use two cameras with prime and extremely fast lenses (35mm and 85mm) but I also have a full lenses gear to fit every kind of situations, so that I can cover almost everything could happen.
Other than wedding photo shootings, I also shoot wedding videos.

Rappresentare una persona, un indumento, una situazione attraverso la fotografia non è sempre un risultato semplice da ottenere, e quasi mai scontato. Bisogna tener conto di una lunga lista di variabili perché il prodotto finale sia soddisfacente e centri il messaggio che si vuole comunicare e, anche quando questo messaggio non è di primaria importanza rispetto alla bellezza estetica, questa è difficile da ottenere.
In questo ambito, realizzo shooting fotografici personali di vario genere o per band musicali, in studio o in esterni.
Che si tratti della realizzazione di un’idea già elaborata o della creazione di un concept ex-novo, sono a disposizione per fornire la massima professionalità e contribuire al raggiungimento del risultato finale.
Ogni aspetto della realizzazione è curato nei minimi dettagli, dalla scelta della location alla post produzione.
Sebbene prediliga la realizzazione di shooting in esterna e con luce naturale, gestita attraverso opportuni modificatori, realizzo anche ritratti e shooting in studio.

Portraying a person, an article of clothing, a situation through photography is neither an easy result to get nor always to be taken for granted. There’s a long variables’ list to account in order for the final product to be satisfactory and to center its message and, even when the “message” it’s not of paramount importance compared to the aesthetic beauty of the picture, that is difficult to achieve.
In this field, I produce photoshootings both for the individual and the musical band, both in studio or exteriors.
Being it the fulfillment of an existing idea or the creation of a brand new concept, I’m available to give the maximum professionalism and to contribute in the achievement of the final result.
Every aspect of the making of a shooting is to be dealt with in every small detail, from the choice of the most suitable location to the post-processing decisions.
Even though I prefer to shoot in exteriors with natural light (handled through the appropriate lightning modifiers), I’m available for studio portraits and shootings.

La comunicazione è, nell’era digitale, di fondamentale importanza per chiunque approcci il mondo lavorativo e debba misurarsi con realtà esistenti e una clientela sempre più esigente. Spesso un buon piano di comunicazione può essere la chiave del successo di un’attività, e per raggiungere un buon piano di comunicazione c’è bisogno di un ottimo materiale fotografico (o video).
Al fine di produrre tale materiale di alto livello, è necessario eseguire uno studio dell’attività, del suo spirito e dell’impronta che si vuol dare alla comunicazione: è dunque necessario possedere delle discrete doti comunicative, da affiancare alle competenze fotografiche, per poter riuscire pienamente in questa impresa.
Con questo spirito realizzo shooting per campagne pubblicitarie, web marketing, advertising e varie applicazioni digitali e cartacee.

In the Digital Era, communication is of paramount importance to everyone approaches the working panorama and has to deal with existing situations and a more and more demanding clientele. A good communication plan can often be the key to success and, to achieve a good communication plan, it takes a good photographic (or video) material.
In order to produce such material it’s necessary to study the company, its spirit and policies and the stamp to give to the communication campaign: it’s therefore necessary to have communication skills, other than photography skills, to succeed in getting the best result.
With this spirit, I shoot photography for communication campaigns, web marketing, advertising and various applications, both digital and paper.
